Summertime

This is my last blog for my class MC 210. Summer is around the corner and it is finally crunch time for all classes. I have enjoyed my news writing class and I grown as a journalist. This class taught me how to research write and dig for information. This was one of my favorite classes and I can't wait to put all I learned to use. 

Thank you Mrs. Kennedy for such a wonderful semester and all of the things you have taught me.

Finally a part of AXiD....

Last saturday I was finally initiated into the greatest sorority ever, Alpha Xi Delta. The ceremony was beautiful and was the best thing I have ever seen. It was such a special day and I will remember it for the rest of my life.

Bombs, bombs, bombs.....

Why do we live in such a cruel world? Where do people come up with the idea of terrorizing harmless people? Who thinks about planting a bomb near a marathon? 

America is slowly becoming one of the scariest place to live in the world. So many people are wanting to harm innocent people, who most of the time don't see it coming at all. Many people are getting to the point where they are to scared to even leave their home. That is not what our founding fathers had in mind when they created this country based on freedom.

It has been about 4 months since the horrific massacre happened in Connecticut, when all the innocent children were harmed and killed. Yesterday another event happened that has put our country in shock. Yesterday at the Boston marathon bombs went off exploding around innocent people. America is not meant to be a scary place to live. it is meant to be safe and free, but it is slowly turning into a dangerous country.

April fools

April fools and opening day for the major leagues fell on the same day and it looks like baseball pulled a joke over on Pitcher A.J Burnett. The pirates pitcher when to grab the rosin bag and it exploded all over him.

It is a mystery to me....

The week that I have been waiting for has finally arrived!! It is big/little week with my sorority!!! I can't wait to find out who my big is!!! 

Today was day one of the big/little week!! I had a basket waiting in the the suit for me decorated and filled with my favorite candy!! 

Thursday is the day I find out who she is!!! I am so excited!! I will keep you updated everyday on the presents I receive!!

Broken Bones are never fun...

Kevin Ware snapped his leg in half, literally. This injury was probably one of the most disgusting injuries I have ever witnessed in sports history. 

Ware was coming down from a shot and right in front of his team mates he landed on his leg wrong and crumbled to the ground. His bone broke through skin and was sticking out.

Ware was rushed the the ER and went straight to surgery. He is up, walking and doing great!

I don't want to wait for our lives to be over, I want to be nude??

Do you remember Joey, better known as Katie Holmes from Dawson's creek? Isn't she the conservative mom type? Or is she?

Recently in a jewelry ad Katie Holmes goes pretty much nude. I have always thought of Holmes as a conservative mother type. Not anymore she bared all and shocked many people.
